i want to live a healthier lifestyle and go veggie but i have one problem i am a picky eater i dont like many greens or fruit textures bother me any suggestions on what i should eat. my now diet consists of breakfast _ zone bar lunch_ gold fish, ham and cheese sandwich, fruit sncaks and a water_ after lunch i have leftovers and for dinner i usually have cereal please help recipes and such
Well I know people who claim to be vegetarian and live on nothing but grilled cheese and french fries…not very healthy. I think if you would just try to eat the foods and don’t tell yourself you don’t like them, you may eventually grow to love them. I use to absolutely hate beets, but I knew they were really good for me, so I kept trying them in small amounts and eventually grew to like them. They aren’t my favorite food, but I can tolerate them. You might prefer fruit in the form of a smoothie if you don’t like the texture. This helps me as I have a problem with a lot of textures. As far as greens, keep drying different ones until you find one that you can tolerate. If you don’t like cooked spinach, for example, you might be able to tolerate it raw in a salad. There are many great vegetarian food sites…just google vegetarian menus. Hope this helps and good luck.
