What are some things to boost metabolism?
I have been drinking a lot of diet green tea and grapefruit juice, and I’ve been doing cardio for about 20 minutes 5 days out of the week. I haven’t ate snacks either. But I have only lost 1 pound. Are there any specific foods or vitamins or other drinks or workouts that can boost my metabolism? Or should I just wait a little longer for results??
First off, snacks are important to speeding up your metabolism. You should be eating 5-6 times a day. Not full meals mind you. It can be either 3 regular size meals and 2-3 healthy snacks, or it can be 5-6 small meals. If you don’t provide your system with enough nutrients then it thinks it is being starved and it will hold every calorie that you take it and store it for fat.
So eat, eat often, just eat healthy. Also, you can take chromium picolinate. It’s supposed to speed up metabolism and help to regulate blood sugar. I’ve had good success with it in the past and it doesn’t have any bad side effects as it’s natural, not a diet pill.
Good luck.
